The Story

The client behind The Crafty Bear is a passionate maker of handmade embroidery and Cricut creations – ranging from personalized gifts to home decor items. As their small business started to grow, they were ready to build a cohesive brand identity that would capture the cheerful and heartfelt nature of their work. They envisioned a bright, “candy-colored” logo with a bear as the main character – something fun, inviting, and closely tied to the brand’s playful name. The goal was to develop a design that would feel instantly friendly and appealing to a wide audience, especially those who appreciate handmade, thoughtful items.

The Solution

To bring this vision to life, I designed a logo that combines a playful font with elements of both a bear and a butterfly – symbols that reflect feelings of creativity, warmth, and the freedom of imagination. The bright color palette enhances the cheerful personality of the brand, while the bear reinforces the brand name in a memorable way. The result is a cozy and approachable identity that stands out and feels personal.
